Hello. I offer friendly and playful Hatha yoga classes, private 1-2-1 sessions and group classes for Adults in and around Ware, Herts.

I also create fun filled, creative themed yoga classes for families and specialist classes to support adults with additional needs.

What is yoga?
Search online and you will be overwhelmed with quotes, definitions and benefits of yoga. For me, the practice is an exploration or self enquiry into the connection of the mind, body and breath, working together in harmony. I hope to offer a friendly space and a relaxed atmosphere to enable you to explore what yoga means to you.

Community yoga
The Hertfordshire Community Project was founded during 2020 to bring yoga & mindfulness to the community as a response to the financial impact of lockdown measures and the effect on physical & mental health, especially for adults with additional needs and carers in Herts. Weekly classes for adults with additional needs are currently on zoom. Read about HCYP here.

“Loren is an exceptional teacher whose love of yoga is infectious. She’s the real deal: genuine, unique, and knowlegeable. Although my usual practice of yoga is quite different, I love coming to Loren’s classes. She’s inclusive, and adapts everything to suit everybody’s needs – perfect for beginners and more experienced practitioners. She has one of the most lovely voices; listening to her teaching points is like being wrapped up in lots of warmth and friendliness, which always gives me so much motivation and confidence – a real gem of a teacher.”
Rupert, Yoga Teacher

“Hi Loren, just wanted to email you to say how much we all enjoyed yesterday mornings session. It really was what we all needed!
Thank you so much 😊

Victoria, Complimentary Therapist

“Hey Loren. Great to see you!!!
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but by the end, I was really chilled, it was good just to stop thinking about the business and stuff just for a short while.”

Gerry, 1st Note Education

“Yoga was great! Really professional. Didn’t push you to do anything, was all about your own personal comfort zone, great experience and I would absolutely definitely both recommend and do it again. Not what I expected and more difficult than you think, felt great after.”

Teen Yoga Student

“Thank you so much. My son loved the yoga class at school yesterday. He came home and got us all doing the poses. “

Teaching Assistant, St Nicholas School.

Yoga is magic!

I joined the local leisure centre, looking for an exercise that wasn’t running on a treadmill for hours on end, discovered yoga and the start of what I am sure will be a life long journey. The physical aspect (asana) is just one small part of a yoga practice and in time it can encourage us to live a happy and fulfilling life off the mat.

I trained to teach children & families bringing yoga to primary schools, clubs, brownies, guides and festivals in Herts and completed the 500hr L4 Diploma in Teaching Yoga with The British Wheel of Yoga teaching in local gyms and halls.

I also work as a Wellbeing Coach at a local college working with their SEND students and formed Herts Community Yoga Project in 2020, you can read more about that here.
